Below are some tips to help insure that you get the best portrait possible. Please remember to arrive on time for your scheduled appointment. If you arrive late, it just means less time for your portrait seesion. If you need to apply make-up or fix your hair here, arrive early enough to do so before your scheduled appointment. We want to give you the best and to do that we need all of your alloted time!

  • Tips For Girls:
  • Clothing:

Please avoid stripes and plaids! Solid colors make a much better photograph. Bring a variety of colors and styles. Bright colors photograph beautifully!

Remember that light outfits look best on light backgrounds and darker clothing looks better on darker backgrounds.

If you want an outdoor session, wear your clothing in layers ( a cami under your shirt , for example) for easier changing.

  • Clothing For Black and White

For black and white portraits, it is best to wear black clothing. Balck and white is exremely popular right now!

  • Make-up

Wear your make-up a little bit heavier than you usually do. Please avoid glitery make-up. This photographs as white spots on your skin.

  • Hair

Easily changeable hair styles are best. If you want to change your hair style from down to an up-do, make sure you can do it quickly! Remember we only have a certain amount of time for your session!

  • Props

Musical instruments, sporting equipment... anything that defines who you are is great!
